Good food, great service!!

We had the best waitress. Clarissa was great. We had 5 kids under 8 and she went above and beyond to make sure that they had crayons and did not have to wait for all the food before bring them something to eat.

GREAT FOOD. Bad carryout box. Food all over bottom of bag before even got home!

Food and service was adequate. Nothing to write a post about. I also thought that the price was high considering what you got.

Outstanding home-cooked meals! Eagle Inn is a "Must Stop" in Prairie Du Sac. Excellent menu and Fast, Friendly service. The broasted chicken is the best we've had!

Hadn't been here in years but stopped a couple of days ago and everything I had was excellent! A perfect patty melt, super delicious coleslaw and great crinkle-cut fries. Even the lemonade, which the waitress (also excellent, great service) said came from a commercial container, had a fresh-squeezed taste! I'm looking forward to stopping here again on trips to the area!

The prices are decent. The service was ok... We had a group of 4 people on two menus were brought. we had to share. Drinks didn't come until after our meal. We paid at the end and gave 40$ when our bill was 31 and never received change. We waited for 10+ mins and eventually left. We were going to tip her anyways I've never heard of not receiving change before. It's still a nice family resteraunt with decent food.

This restaurant has been a great stop, for myself and family, over the years. They serve traditional Midwest diner food, and the prices are average. They were over-run and a bit slow, as the holiday-weekend was ending, but that is understandable. The view, over the Wisconsin River, and small-town atmosphere is worth the stop, alone!

Best hot roast beef sandwiches ever. JoAnn is a waitress there and she is a wonderful lady.

The eagle inn, is the essence of Sauk prairie. Friendly people and a no frills atmosphere which is so refreshing.The eagle inn does what other restaurants fail at. They just make delicious food. Too many places focus on atmosphere or gimmicks. Here, they focus on your empty belly. While visiting for breakfast, I had one of the best omelets I’ve had in years!Friendly staff, delicious food. Five stars.

The food is usually very good and prices are reasonable. The real problem i have is all the flies. Been there 3 times past 2 weeks and the flies are horrable. I eat out to much,and never have such a problem as here.Thanks Deb

Food was mediocre. Their ribs tasted like ketchup. Corn was still frozen. Had a corned beef that was ok. Service was prompt and wait persons were friendly.

Fantastic food!!! Everything was perfect. I had the hot beef and potatoes over bread. The beef was perfection as were the potatoes and gravy. Arguably the best I've ever had! The service was good and the restuarant was clean. Steady flow of customers. I highly recommend the Eagle Inn!

Eagle Inn has been one of my favorite places to have breakfast since I was little. They also have really great pies and baked goods!

Best sweet rolls I've ever had.

So many things done well. Small pot of coffee on the table so you can refill at your leisure. Eggs scrambled medium (not runny, not brown). Crispy American Fries done to perfection. Whole wheat toast, warm from the toaster, proportionately buttered. Bacon, a little greasy (what would one expect?) but delicious. Just a perfect little breakfast on a perfect little day in a perfect little town along a beautiful river. Only negative: coffee mugs upside down on tables (bad hygiene). Put 'em on a napkin please. Best breakfast in the area.

Took 15 min for someone to notice us. Waitress forgot about our drinks. Food came 40min later and was uncooked, cold and my daughter's pancakes were burnt. I had to flag the waitress down for the bill since she didn't bother to come back and check on us. When I went to pay the bill I was asked "how was everything?" I replied with the food issues and the cashier said " oh, I'm so sorry, but we are busy today".

I didn't have to wait long. The food was delicious. Each time I go I am impressed.

The best hot beef w/real mashed potatoes sandwich w/gravy. Was back again to eat. Food was very good, as usual. Although the cooks could clean up their language a bit. Can hear them in the eating area. Will come back again.

Awesome food with great service

I have been sitting here now for 15 min with my son. I got my own menus, put them on the edge of the table to signal I was ready to order. 2 wait staff plus the cooks in the back have all looked at me and ignored me. Not offered me coffee or even water for my son. Still waiting for any kind of acknowledgment for the 6 people working. Guess we are headed to Blue Spoon where the food is much better anyhow!

Wow!! We went out for a fancy dinner last night for our anniversary. It cost $100 more than this dinner and the Eagle Inn’s meal was a hundred times better! Everything was hot, the hash browns were buttery golden brown deliciousness. The coleslaw was dreamy and creamy. My taco omelet was cheesy, flavorful and scrumptious. My husband enjoyed the prime rib. The gravy on his potatoes was heavenly! Well done!!

My hubs and I went here for breakfast. DO NOT GET THE EAGLES INN HASHBROWNS, they are the biggest rip off ever, for $3.50, there were literally THREE teeny tiny cubed green peppers in the hashbrowns, even the server was like “you’ll have to dig around to find the green peppers and onions, see, there’s one! 🤷🏻‍♀️...”, too bad because I really wanted to like this place. Still giving 5 stars because I support small local businesses and this place has a lot of promise. They left the pot of coffee on the table (major bonus), I really like the Eagles Inn patio gate thing, pretty view and the ample parking. I wish dogs were allowed on the patio.

Food was great service not so much waited for our waitress 10 min people that walked in 10 min after us got their order taken right away they even received the first part of their meal b4 she even took our order !!! They weren't even busy.

Poor quality food. And bad prices for it. Better food and quality at cenex gas station. What kind of burger doesn't come with fries and since when is that a half order of cold cheese curds.

This experience was incredible. We stopped because of rain storm and boy am I glad we did. The food is out of this world. The service by Shelby was superior, kind and friendly. Highly recommend their fantastic pies. We will be back when passing through.
